7 Year Old Hit and Run Victim Returns Home to Finish Recovery
I remember when I first heard about this story. I was horrified! On the Fourth of July, seven year old Tremont Seals was another victim of a hit and run, this time on Loring Avenue in Buffalo.
Unfortunately, no arrests have been made in this case and the young man spent time comatose in addition to suffering from serious head trauma. I've been keeping up with this family on Facebook and it's amazing to see the progress that Tremont has made.
Just two months ago, Tremont was in critical condition. He is now 8 years old and is eating, walking, and talking again. Although he still needs a neck brace his smile is priceless! His mother Tameka Jones says "He has a fighting spirit". According to WIVB, Tremont was able to return home to Buffalo from Pittsburgh, where he was being treated at the Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh this past Friday. I was so glad to hear this news.
There have been 17 hit and runs since January 1ST, six including Tremont's case remain unsolved.
A reward of $1,000 is being offered. Anyone with information that could help police should contact CrimeStoppers at 716-867-6161
Continue to have a speedy recovery Tremont!!
