5 Days You Will Want To Be In Buffalo For

The other day I was talking with my nephew Ryan who is a freshman at the University at Buffalo. He was talking about going home, back to Canandaigua for Thanksgiving break and I was shocked.

See he wanted to head home on the Monday of Thanksgiving week and I had to tell him he would be missing out on one of the biggest party days of the year here in Western New York.

If you didn't know, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving is always a big day for Buffalo bars and nightclubs. You see most college students come home for Thanksgiving and the Wednesday before Turkey Day is always one big party. Kids come home and meet up with friends from High School that they haven't seen since last year. Plus all the people that stay in Western New York over the break also want to go out and have some fun.

I told my nephew Ryan, he had to experience the Wednesday before Thanksgiving at least once when he is a student at UB.

But that Wednesday is not the only day that you will want to be in Buffalo. There are several other days that you want to make sure you are here in the 716 for. From amazing parties to hanging out and making new friends, to being a part of history if you can help it, you should be in Western New York for these special days.

Some of these days come more than once a year while some of the days are only once a year but when it happens you want to be here.
