Young Thug to Release New Album So Much Fun Next Week
Young Thug has been teasing the release of his new album, So Much Fun, and now we have a release date for the forthcoming project.
The Atlanta rap artist gave fans an update on the new offering via Instagram on Saturday (Aug. 10). In the post, he shared the cover art for the LP, which shows an aerial view of a bunch of little Thuggers that are forming a human face in a huge field of grass. Thug unveiled the release date for the project in the caption typing, "8.16."
The album is spearheaded by the single "The London" featuring J. Cole and Travis Scott, which was released in May. The LP has undergone a few name changes over the years. Thugger revealed the latest title as So Much Fun back in July on Twitter.
This will be Thugger's first release of 2019, but it doesn't look like it will be his last. Earlier this week, it was announced he would be joining forces with Future, Lil Baby and Gunna on a new project titled Super Slimey 2. This will serve as the sequel to his collab mixtape with Hendrix from 2017.
In other Thugger-related news, the YSL rapper will be hitting the road on tour starting in late September along with Machine Gun Kelly, Polo G, Killy and YBN Nahmir.
