Woman Targeted in Sexual Assault in Buffalo, Perp Going to Prison
A Buffalo man is headed to prison after trying to sexually assault a disabled woman who was in the hospital. The Office of John Flynn, the District Attorney for Erie County, announced the sentence today, September 21, 2021.
The perpetrator of the attack, 28-year-old Dorian R. Harold of Buffalo, has been sentenced by Erie County Court Judge Susan Eagan to serve five years behind bars. After he serves his prison sentence, he will have 10 years of post-release supervision and will have to register as a sex offender.
Harold tried to sexually assault a disabled woman who was a patient at a Buffalo hospital on Monday, May 6, 2019, around 11 pm. He was also a patient at the same hospital. He pleaded guilty to one count of Attempted Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree, which is a Class C felony.
