Woman Shot to Death in Buffalo

While responding to a call of a person down on the street, officers from the Buffalo Police Department found a woman dead when they arrived on the scene.

According to WKBW, the 25-year-old woman was found with multiple gunshot wounds on St. Louis Ave., between Walden Ave. and Genesee St. in Buffalo around 6 pm.

The young lady, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead from the gunshot wounds by the medical authorities on the scene.

Every day when I look at the news we are about another shooting or violent incident. It seems that this string of violence that we’ve been experiencing just keeps going.

What can we do as a people to begin to stem the violence we have in our neighborhoods? What is really driving this violence? What would cause someone to shoot a woman multiple times and leave her in on the street to die?

I have personally lost family and friends to violence, so these incidents really have an effect on me. We have to find ways to stop this. I have so many questions, but not a lot of answers…
