Woman Allegedly Stole Unconscious Hospital Patient’s Credit Card & Ran Up $4,000 In Purchases

A woman is facing charges for allegedly stealing a hospital patient’s credit card and going on a little shopping spree while he laid up in ICU!
According to CBS Pittsburgh, Charlotte Jackson, 54, straight up stole Harry Meadows’ card while he was unconscious in the Intensive Care Unit at Excela Westmoreland Hospital.
Authorities say Charolette tricked a nurse into gaining access to the man.
Apperentaly she told the nurse that she was the daughter of the victim
Once sis made it out of the hospital, she ran that card up to $4,000 in purchases at about 50 locations.
Capt. Robert Stafford, of Greensburg Police said:
“She had gone to Walmart, she used the Lyft service numerous times, an eye doctor one time,”
Jackson was hit with a rack of charges including burglary, criminal trespass, theft and criminal use of a communication facility.
She is currently sitting in the Westmoreland County Jail on $15,000 bond.
