Uppercutting Bus Driver Faces Criminal Charges

So I was trying to stay away from this trending topic, because I really am not about violence, but I can't wait to report to you the latest news in the case of the Bus Driver in Cleveland who hit a female passenger with a Mortal Combat style uppercut! Not one but BOTH of them are now facing misdemeanor charges!! Details inside.

Police say Ms. Thang appeared to be drunk when she struggled to find the money for her bus fare and was physically abusive to the bus driver. In the video, you can't really see what she did to provoke the uppercut heard around the world, but according to the victim

"she grabbed me in the throat and spit on me in the face."

 

The driver, Artis Hughes, 59, was charged with criminal assault, while passenger Shi’dea Lane, 25, was hit with disorderly conduct. Serves them fools right!

Hughes remains suspended without pay from his RTA job, and faces a maximum of six months in jail and a $1000 fine if convicted.. As for Lane, a lesser charge carries a maximum of 30 days in custody and a $250 fine.
