Update: Police Report That Shooting At Lil Wayne’s House Was a Hoax

Police have reported that the alleged shooting at Lil Wayne's Miami Mansion earlier today was indeed a hoax.

After the call was made to the non-emergency line, police surrounded the perimeter, entered the premises only to find that there was no emergency.

Via Local 10:

Miami Beach police spokesman Ernesto Rodriguez said someone called the non-emergency number about 12:40 p.m. to say that four people were shot inside the waterfront home on La Gorce Island.

“We can say for sure it was a hoax,” Rodriguez said.

This incident caused the internet to go in an uproar as people started to "fear" for  Lil Wayne's safety with recent beef brewing him and his former mentor, Birdman. Lil Wayne is perfectly fine and was not on the premises during the time of the emergency call.
