UB Women Advance to the Sweet 16!

CONGRATULATIONS UB BULLS WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TEAM!

The UB Women's Basketball Team, lead by Head Coach Felisha Legette-Jack have made UB History after defeating the #3 Seeded Florida State Seminoles and advance to the NCAA Sweet 16 Tournament.

THE WIN WAS A TRUE TEAM BALANCED EFFORT WITH ALL 5 STARTERS ENDING UP IN DOUBLE DIGITS SCORING:

Cierra Dillard -  22 points, seven rebounds / five assists

Stephanie Reid -18 points

Summer Hemphill -17 points and 11 rebounds,

Cassie Oursler -12 points and 7 rebounds

Katherine Ups -11 points.

The UB Bulls Women also made 27-of-30 from the free throw line.

The team will now travel to Albany this Saturday to play last year's National Champions and this year's #2 Seeded team, the South Carolina Gamecocks.
