According to WGRZ, Open Praise Full Gospel Baptist Church is back to doing great things in their community. The church handed out meals after their program on Sunday, this has been a tradition of the church for a while.

Because of the pandemic, the church had to stop the give-a-ways, now with cases of COVID-19 a little more under control, it's now possible to resume their weekend tradition.

According to WGRZ, Open Praise Full Gospel Baptist Church also give out hygiene bags as well, they are located on Filmore Avenue and they will do the free meals and hygiene bags on Saturdays.

In my opinion, the Filmore district is on the rise again as it relates to the rebuilding of the area and some of the new structures in place. It's good to see organizations step up and serve the people in need, in the neighborhood in which they live and worship.

According to WGRZ, the church also does a big Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner, in an effort to bring the community together.
