The SPCA is trying to reach its goal of having 1,000 animals adopted, so it's cutting adoption fees, according to WGRZ. If the SPCA that serves Erie County reaches the goal, it will receive a $15,000 donation from PetSmart Charities.

It needs to find homes for 18 more animals to reach the goal, so its offering half-off on the adoption fees of kittens, as well as cats who are 5-months or older, located in PetSmart locations. The offer does not include puppies or dogs, but does include other small animals.

You can find the animals available for half-priced adoption fees at the following PetSmart locations:

2102 Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo
1734 Walden Avenue in Cheektowaga
123 Grey Street in East Aurora
