The Resource Council of WNY is now hiring for several positions to staff the new Buffalo United Resiliency Center located within their facility. Community Resource Director:

The Community Resource Director is a three-year position responsible for the oversight and management of the Buffalo United Resiliency Center (BURC) to serve those impacted by the May 14th mass tragedy. The BURC inside the Resource Council of WNY is a place of healing and support dedicated to serving as a resource and referral center for residents, visitors and responders. The BURC is staffed by knowledgeable and caring professionals that are placed to help people access resources to help them build strength and resiliency in the aftermath of this incident.

Case Manager:

The Case Manager/Outreach Specialist will link individuals and their families to services available at or in collaboration with the BURC and assist the Community Resource Director in establishing goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.

The Case Manager/Outreach Specialist will also be responsible for providing individual and/or group Psychological First Aid to individuals impacted by traumatic events in the community and maintaining a caseload necessary to meet the needs of the client population specified by the BURC Community Resource Director.

Program Manager/Grant Administrator:

The Program Manager/Grant Administrator is a three-year position responsible for tracking, compiling and reporting data and financial information related to federal and state grant funding guidelines for the BURC.

Bookkeeper:

The Bookkeeper is a three-year position responsible for the management of the program’s financial documents, oversee bi-monthly payroll, and update and maintain donor database records. The BURC is a place of healing and support for individuals and families impacted by the May 14 mass tragedy, dedicated to serving as a resource and referral center for residents, visitors and responders. staffed by knowledgeable and caring professionals that are placed to help people access resources to help them build strength and resiliency in the aftermath of this incident.

The Resource Council of WNY is seeking a full-charge bookkeeper to manage the nonprofit’s financial documents for the operations of the Resiliency Center, oversee bi-monthly payroll, and update and maintain financial and database records.

Receptionist/Front Office Manager:

The Resource Council of WNY is seeking a Receptionist/Front Office Manager to serve as the first point of contact of our Resiliency Center and welcome our visitors with authentic warmth and empathy, enabling them to feel safe, secure and comforted at our location.
