Suspect Leads Police on Chase, Runs Into 4 Cars in Niagara Falls
Four cars were hit in a police chase in Niagara Falls. A suspect in a shooting fled from police on Jerauld Avenue after they tried to stop the 2013 Dodge he was driving. The 25-year-old man was a suspect in a shooting that happened recently.
During the chase, the male allegedly ran a stop sign at Hyde Park Boulevard. His car has hit by a 76-year-old woman driving a Toyota. Another woman, who is 36-years-old, was involved in that accident when her vehicle hit the Toyota. Upon impact, her car rolled over and struck a police vehicle that was parked, according to WKBW.
The vehicle that was driven by the suspect also flipped, onto its side. The other drivers did sustain injuries. The elderly woman was treated for minor injuries at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. She was released. The 36-year-old woman was taken to Erie County Medical Center to receive treatment for a compound fracture in her wrist. A passenger in her vehicle was transported to Memorial Medical Center and treated for minor injuries. The suspect was not injured in the crash and was apprehended at the time.
