Bills Fans Upset Packers Player Makes Fun of Stefon Diggs
The Buffalo Bills did not play a perfect game last night. In fact, it was their first win of the 2022 regular season that involved mistakes, not capitalizing on situations and allowing a team to hang in until the end.
But the Bills got the win, 27-17 over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football.
The glass half-full way to look at this game is that one, the Bills did play well in the first half (led 24-7) and two, the Bills played that poorly in the second half, Josh Allen threw two interceptions and the Bills run defense did not play well...and the Bills still won by two scores.
That's the sign of a great team.
Other than the final score, the biggest storyline after the game was the obvious trash-talking that took place between the Bills offense and the Packers defense, most notably between wide receiver Stefon Diggs and cornerback Jaire Alexander.
Diggs and Alexander exchanged words in pregame and they shared more back-and-forth during the game.
Diggs said after that he didn't know why started it, but he finished it.
Alexander's comments on Diggs after the game did not sit well with Bills fans and to be honest, they're kind of bizarre.
Alexander was asked what he thought of Diggs saying he didn't know why started it, but he finished it.
"I don't know what he means by that, I need more clarification," said Alexander.
"I don't either (who started it). I finished it," added Alexander.
Then Alexander said Diggs was just a decent receiver.
"I always thought he was just a decent receiver. I don't have more to say about him."
Diggs definitely meant that his team won the game and he scored a touchdown, which is why he said he finished it. I'm not sure what Alexander meant by rebutting him by saying he finished it.
It was evident that Alexander tried to get into the heads of the Bills and Diggs in particular. It did work to a degree but in the end, the Packers lost and it's a shame these two teams won't play each other again until 2026...
