South Buffalo Pizzeria Gets Approval To Expand [VIDEO]

A South Buffalo pizzeria is getting ready to expand into a full-service restaurant, after getting the city's approval.

Imperial Pizza on Abbott Road got the thumbs up on Monday for a major expansion, which will include a two-story building for sit-down dining, banquet facilities, a larger kitchen and 27 new parking spaces. The owners also plan to double their workforce from 50 to 100 full and part-time employees.

The new facility will get underway as early as next spring. The expansion project is estimated to cost around $2 million.
