So Rihanna Caused The Solange/Jay Z Fight?

Days after the infamous Elevator fight between Jay Z and his sister-in-law footage leaked online, we are finally catching wind of what set Solange off!

In case you have been living under a rock these past few days, things got pretty heated in an elevator of the Standard hotel as Jay Z, Beyonce and Solange were leaving a Met Gala after party in Manhattan.

But now we finally know why! The bad vibes started earlier that night when a group of Solange's Brooklyn friends showed up to the party way under-dressed and tried to use Jay Z's name to get in the celebrity event. When the uninvited guests were denied entry, they started to cause a scene downstairs. When word got to Jay Z, he snapped on his sister-in-law saying "Don't use my name!".

When it was time to go, Jigga revealed that he wasn't going home with the ladies, because he already made plans to go to Rihanna's after-party at Up & Down, solo! That's right, he made sure to let his people know that he wouldn't need extra security at the next spot because "Beyonce's not coming".

Solange, who appeared to be drunk, asked him "Why can't you go home?" and to Beyonce she asked "Why does your husband need to go to the club right now?" Jay Z responded "You're one to talk" and the rest you saw in the video!

Jay Z did indeed leave in a different car, but decided not to go to Ri Ri's party after-all that drama. Since that day, he and Bey were spotted sitting courtside at the Nets Game and he and Solange went shopping together.

(The latter seemed more like a photo opp than a genuine sibling outing. )

The resentment against Jay Z started awhile back when he promised Solange he would help her with her singing career, but never found time to work with her in the studio.
