Buffalo Bills Player Signs Three-Year Extension

The Buffalo Bills are preparing for the start of unrestricted free agency, which begins on March 16th at 4 pm.

The Bills have plenty of pending unrestricted free agents who need to be re-signed before the hit the open market, assuming the Bills and general manager Brandon Beane want to bring them back to the roster.

Cornerback Levi Wallace, defensive tackle Harrison Phillips, defensive end Mario Addison, edge rusher Jerry Hughes, running back Taiwan Jones, backup quarterback Mitch Trubisky and wide receivers Isaiah McKenzie and Emmanuel Sanders are just some of the notable names who will free agents in March.

On Wednesday, the Bills decided to lock up one of their aces on special teams.

According to the Bills social media accounts, they have signed cornerback Siran Neal to a three-year contract extension.

According to Tom Pelissaro of The NFL Network, the deal is worth $10.9 million.

Neal was a 5th round draft pick in 2018 out of Jacksonville State. Since then, he has developed himself into one of the best special teams players in the entire NFL.

He can also fill in at cornerback if there are injuries. The Bills special teams coverage unit has been terrific in recent years and it's because of players like Siran Neal, so this signing was a great one by Beane and company.

The Bills still need to re-sign Taiwan Jones, who is another special teams standout and is scheduled to be a free agent in March.
