Sean McDermott Gives Important Update on Bills Injuries

The Buffalo Bills are back on the practice field today as they gear up for a rare matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. It's the first time the Vikings have played in Orchard Park since 2014, back when Kyle Orton was the Bills starting quarterback.

Before that, the Bills hosted the Vikings in 2006, back when J.P. was the Bills starting quarterback. Lee Evans, Josh Reed, Roscoe Parrish and Peerless Price were the Bills wide receivers back then...just to give you an idea of how often the Vikings visit One Bills Drive.

The Bills are down to 4.5-point favorites against the Vikings for this Sunday, which was a double-digit spread one week ago.

The reason is because of the Bills injury situation; most notably starting quarterback Josh Allen.

Allen hurt his elbow on the last drive against the New York Jets, which was described as a sprained UCL (slightly torn ulnar collateral ligament) by The NFL Network's insider Ian Rapoport late Tuesday night.

On Wednesday, Bills head coach Sean McDermott gave an update himself on Allen and the rest off the Bills injuries.

McDermott said Allen is "day-to-day" with an elbow injury and when asked if Josh would play on Sunday, McDermott said "we'll see."

McDermott also said that Tremaine Edmunds and Jordan Poyer would miss practice and are both day-to-day. Matt Milano was wearing a non-contact jersey but was back at practice. The same can be said for Dane Jackson.

Also, McDermott said that Tre'Davious White is also day-to-day, so fans are hoping this Sunday will be his first game back since ACL surgery.

The Bills play an offense with plenty of weapons (Justin Jefferson, Dalvin Cook, Adam Thielen), so having guys like Milano, White, Poyer and Edmunds would help significantly.
