Roads Set To Be Closed Due To Filming Of A Movie

The New York State Department of Transportation announced today several roads will be closed or have altered traffic patterns due to the filming of the movie "A Quiet Place 2"

A Portion of Rt. 93 in Akron will be closed tomorrow for filming and then starting on Monday, July 15th, Rt. 93 from Buffalo Street to Church Street will be closed to all traffic.

The closure will last until July 25th. Detours for motorists will be posted telling them to use Clarence Center Road, Hake Road, Lewis Road, and Cedar Street.

The NYDOT also reminds motorist to obey all detour signs and speed limits posted along the detours.
