Aioli is basically a fancy Mediterranean mayonnaise that packs a flavorful punch! It literally means oil and garlic, but it's a little more complex than that. This recipe isn't exactly the traditional method as it usually calls for eggs. Instead, it cheats a little and uses a great quality mayonnaise but it still has the same great taste and consistency.

This Aioli recipe is great on chicken sandwiches, burgers and even serves as yummy a dipping sauce for fries. Try out this tasty condiment and let us know what you think!

 

 

Aioli

  • Lemon Juice
  • Minced Garlic
  • Mayonnaise
  • Oil
  • Dijon mustard
  • Freshly Chopped Parsley
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Paprika (Optional)

Combine lemon juice, minced garlic and a dash of salt. Spread evenly in bowl and set aside for a minimum of 30 minutes.

Use a small wire mesh strainer and rubber spatula to strain the lemon juice and discard minced garlic. Mix together remaining ingredients until smooth and refrigerate. Aioli will thicken as it stands. Serve on your favorite sandwich or as a dip and enjoy!
