If you plan on traveling Wednesday for Thanksgiving, definitely keep the weather in mind as it could prove to be a messy Wednesday afternoon through Thanksgiving morning.

According to WGRZ Weather, a storm system will impact Western New York starting Wednesday morning that will bring steady rainfall with heavy winds, potentially damaging, as gusts could be upwards of 50 mph.

The rain will switch to snow by Wednesday evening as temperatures rapidly drop. The snow could last into Thanksgiving morning.

Expect slow travel Wednesday afternoon and evening for sure.
