Enjoy winter fun in downtown Buffalo. The Buffalo Urban Development Corporation, the lead on the Queen City Pop Up initiative, kicked off its Downtown for the Holidays: Skate. Sip. Shop. Stay Awhile campaign, offering holiday activities to Buffalo residents in downtown.

You and your family are cordially invited to celebrate the holiday season in downtown Buffalo. City of Buffalo Mayor Christopher Scanlon said,

“Downtown Buffalo is a major economic and cultural anchor for our city, and our small businesses play a critical role in its strength. As we continue strengthening our post-pandemic recovery, initiatives like ‘Downtown for the Holidays’ help reconnect residents, workers, and visitors with everything downtown has to offer. This effort reflects our commitment to supporting local entrepreneurs, enhancing public spaces, and keeping Downtown Buffalo a lively and welcoming destination during the holiday season and beyond.”

Each Thursday between now and December 18, from 4 pm to 7 pm, Fountain Plaza will host a new music series for the holidays. You will also enjoy festive entertainment, food and beverage from Prova restaurant, and ice skating.
