Project M.O.V.E. Buffalo is Hiring for City Hall
Mayor Byron Brown's AmeriCorps VISTA program is hiring for its 2020 cycle.
You can now submit your application for AmeriCorps VISTA Project M.O.V.E. The program provides a stipend, professional development, experience working in city hall and on Mayoral projects. This is a year-long program, under the direction of Mayor Brown. The program was created to be a type of "Peace Corps" program here in the U.S. If you are accepted to the program, you might work in organizations like the Police Athletic League or the Office of New Americans, according to Project M.O.V.E.
"The AmeriCorps VISTA program was created in 1965 by the late president John F. Kennedy and is designed to fight poverty in America’s urban areas, essentially acting as a 'domestic peace corps.' The program creates opportunities for individuals to fight poverty in low income areas by engaging all types of Americans in service." ~ Project M.O.V.E
