WKBW has reported that Brandon Wilson was arrested at the Peace Bridge on Tuesday after a routine sweep of his vehicle.

Following a standard CBP vehicle sweep, Wilson opened the trunk of his car, where CBP officers found multiple pieces of mail along with a USPS box.

Inside the USPS box was undelivered mail including three absentee ballots sent to two different addresses from the Erie County, Board of Elections.

Wilson has denied doing anything wrong according to WKBW.

Wilson denied discarding mail pieces and denied stealing greeting cards, cash, or checks from his delivery route, and denied knowledge of the three election ballots discovered within the recovered mail.

Overall, there were 813 total pieces of mail found by the border patrol in Wilson's vehicle.

United States Postal Service Office of the Inspector General is now investing the case.
