People Take To Twitter Claiming “THE WIZ” was Racist!

Many people took to Twitter with comments stating that "The Wiz" , which aired "LIVE" on NBC last night, was RACIST!

HUH?????

Last night's "THE WIZ" was simply a Re-Make of the Original "THE WIZ" which was produced in 1978 Starring Michael Jackson, Stephanie Mills, and Diana Ross!  The people who deem "THE WIZ" Racist, are obviously unaware of the Original ALL BLACK CAST in the "THE WIZ" of 1978!

"The Wiz" is the ALL BLACK CAST VERSION of the Original "The Wizard of Oz" Movie which had an ALL WHITE CAST... but that's "ok" apparently.

So it's very interesting as to how some people are deeming "THE WIZ" Racist because of an all Black Cast while the Original "The Wizard of Oz" Movie had an ALL WHITE CAST!
