The Buffalo Sabres are getting closer to wrapping up their season and while they won't be in the playoffs this year, this team is still giving fans plenty to cheer about.

Last year's first overall pick in the NFL draft Owen Power continues to impress the fans, coaches, and other Buffalo Sabre players with his play.

Since joining the Sabres after his college career ended a couple of weeks ago, Power has shown plenty of talent that made me the first overall pick.

His career highlights continued last night against the New Jersey Devils as Power scored his first career goal.

So far in his young career Power has played in 5 games scoring one goal and tallying one assist for two points.
The Buffalo Sabres have three regular-season games left in the season. The Buffalo Sabres are back home on Saturday to host the New York Islanders. They are back on the road in Boston next Thursday and will have their final game of the season next Friday as they host the Chicago Blackhawks.
