On The Scene: ADRI.V Hosted The Beau Fleuve Music Arts Festival
The new Beau Fleuve Music and Arts Festival on Aug. 19 at Buffalo RiverWorks was a major success and left everyone in smiles!
It was a celebration of all things Buffalo where the goal to cultivate a music and arts festival that celebrates the rich history of the area was accomplished. Artist from all genres from country, hip-hop, rap, neo-soul, indie and rock all took the stages.
Highlights include Venzella Joy, Beyonce’s drummer who killed her set not only performing songs from Beyonce but showcasing her very own music.
Soul, gospel and blues queen Drea D’Nur who sang everyone to death and brought us all back to life gave everyone the chills. Drea's performance was so good that the audience begged for more!
Rising gospel artists Kyria performed his latest single "Beats Mode" raising the energy. Basses Zuri Appleby kicked off the festival performing with her father a musical legend and giving us her rendition of "Friends"
I, ADRI.V hosted The Beau Fleuve Music Arts Festival panel and got to sit down with Buffalo's own DJ T Jizzle, who has toured with Drake and Future and discuss the art of DJing, the sacrifice, the struggle, and the shine. I also got to talk with upcoming designer Rashaad Holley on how he got started, the importance of his education and so much more!
There was so much happening from the live painting by Buffalos own Jarael Adams, Byron W. Brown Jr., and The Kid With Wings to the Silent Disco where our very own DJ Wire was in the Mix.
If you missed this year event you do not want to miss next years!
