He's known as the "King of the High Wire."

Nik Wallenda has made a career out of performing his famous high wire stunts at various locations over the years. It's what a true daredevil does. The act is so dangerous, so a part of you doesn't want to watch, but a bigger part of you wants to because it's just so incredible.

You might remember Wallenda the best when he walked across Niagara Falls back in June of 2012. I remember watching that live and it's hard to believe it's been nine years already.

That was on June 15th, 2012, and almost to the day, nine years later, he was back in Western New York this week as he walked the high wire over D'Youville College in Buffalo.

Wallenda was in town, helping D'Youville with their grand opening of the Health Professions Hub. Wallenda, as you would expect, walked the high wire over D'Youville on Thursday afternoon and it didn't disappoint at all.

Someone yelled at Wallenda to perform his high wire walk over Highmark Stadium (where the Buffalo Bills play), and to be fair, Wallenda didn't say "no," so perhaps that's next on the list!

Check out some of the photos captured of Wallenda walking the high wire in front of the crowds at D'Youville College.
