NFTA Train Heroes Honored [VIDEO]

Steven Love and Jose Ramirez honored for an act of heroism.  According to  WIVB, Steven Love was on his way to catch the outbound subway on his way to work when he saw an older man suddenly collapse onto the tracks and a train was coming into the station. Initially, Love tried to reach the man from the platform.

The NFTA had a luncheon yesterday where they recognized the driver of the train Jose Ramirez for paying attention and being swift in bringing the train to a stop so they could rescue the elderly man. Train operators like Jose prefer to remain unsung heroes, by doing their job every day without any incidents. And he's still humble. Salute to Steven Love and Jose Ramirez for doing the right thing.
