New York State Troopers Chase Down Buffalo Twosome After Robbery
Statistically speaking, crime is down all over the nation in every single category, and we arguably live in what many would call the safest time to ever be alive.
While that may be true, that doesn't mean that crime is irradiated, and it also absolutely doesn't mean that stupid crimes will no longer happen.
Two people from the Buffalo area have gone out of their way to remind us how true that is.
According to an announcement from the New York State Police, a pair of Buffalo residents were involved in a robbery at the Waterloo Premium Outlet Mall, just off the 90 in the Central New York Town of Junius, New York.
19-year-old Kai Morris and 27-year-old Jaszndra Davis were arrested by State Troopers and charged with 4th Degree Grand Larceny, Petit Larceny, and 3rd Degree Unlawful Fleeing from an officer.
State Police Major Brian J. Ratajczak reported that troopers were called by workers inside the Ralph Lauren store at the mall when they allegedly observed the duo stealing. Troopers arrived at the mall and engaged in a chase. It was after the chase that the pair were taken into custody.
The pair are due back in Junius town court in March to answer the charges they were arrested for.
Crime Is Down, But Not Nonexistant
While crime is down, there are several areas in New York State that rank high in various crimes, including property crime.
Cities like Ithcia, Rochester, Syracuse, and Utica rank high up on the list but believe it or not, do not lead the state.
