New York Governor Andrew Cuomo Dropped The N-Word During A Live Interview || Power 93.7 WBLK
Cuomo You got some explaining to do, and I don't even get into politics all that, but I know for sure some words you can not use especially the N Word!
Cuomo was speaking with radio station WAMC in Albany when the question at hand was about the delayed Medicaid payments in New York’s but somehow Cuomo switched the whole question around to talk about discrimination against Italian-Americans.
Andrew goes and say his ancestors were often referred to as “n_____r w____s,” NBC New York reports.
“Pardon my language, but I’m just quoting the Times, n—-r w–s, n-word w–s,”
Now Saturday The the NY Times published the "How Italians Became White" story in which the derogatory slur is found.
The question is why he said it, his defensive was he was just quoting what the New York Times’ editorial said and use of the derogatory term.
Now that's something I would have handle not on radio and if I did handle it on radio I would neverrrr say those words on radio shoot anywhere. but we know this isn't Andrew Cuomo's first time using disrespectful language. Back in March when he visited a predominantly black church on Palm Sunday, he shocked people when he suggested that Jews could not dance.
"I'm a Catholic,Catholics basically believe the same thing as Baptists believe. We just do it without the rhythm. But we try. We try. We are not as without rhythm as our Jewish brothers and sisters."
Now the question is why he said it, his defensive was he was just quoting what the New York Times’ editorial said and use of the derogatory term.
