LEGAL LOLS: Lil Wayne. It seems as though Lil Wayne's deposition antics have worked against the Young Money rapper. According to TMZ, the rapper lost his case against Quincy Jones III for using his music without authorization. To add insult to injury, Wayne also lost the suit Jones filed against him, resulting in the rapper being required to pay Jones $2,195,000. He'll definitely be making it rain now.

NEW MUSIC: Kendrick Lamar -- "The Jig Is Up" (produced by J.Cole and Canel Finch). Kendrick Lamar has been living a dream recently. With his debut album good kid, m.A.A.d. city topping the Billboard rap charts and hitting no. 2 on the digital charts, behind Taylor Swift's latest album, it's safe to say he's got nothing left to prove as a newcomer. As a gift to his loyal fans for helping catapult him to the top of the charts, the California rapper blessed us with an unreleased track, produced by fellow rapper J.Cole. Take a listen to "The Jig Is Up" below. Why this didn't make the cut for the album is beyond me.

NEW MUSIC: Chief Keef ft. Bo Deal & Uncle Murda (produced by Lex Luger). The producer behind Rick Ross' "B.M.F," Jay-Z and Kanye West's "H.A.M." and Waka Flocka's "Round of Applause" has teamed up with rookie Chief Keef, who made a name for himself after Kanye West remixed his track "I Don't Like." This song is only one of a number of tracks Chief Keef has released since his radio debut. Your call.

This week's installment, titled "Holy Water," follows the controversial religious theme The Game has set. let's hope the backlash for alleged blasphemy doesn't hurt The Game's chances at a return to rap music.
