There's a new playground at Hyde Park in Niagara Falls and it's not an ordinary playground either.

According to WIVB, Niagara Falls City officials officially opened the Hyde Park Inclusionary Playground on Tuesday.

The playground has equipment built to accommodate wheelchairs, along with "ground-level tactile features designed for special developmental needs."

"“The City of Niagara Falls is committed to all residents and this project is meant to send a clear message of inclusion to our entire community,” said Mayor Paul Dyster.

It was built using a "diverse" funding coalition and various grant awards. No tax payer dollars were used.

If you want to visit the new playground, it's located off the intersection of Robbins Drive and Pine Avenue.
