Mercy Flight Helicopter Crashes In Genesee County
It's the service that people count on when they experience an awful tragedy, and today, they had one of their own. A Mercy Flight helicopter has crashed.
The news came through this afternoon from the New York State Police.
The crash happened near Norton Road near Edgerton in Elba, New York, just north of Batavia around 1pm. They had taken off from the Mercy Flight in Batavia and it appears as though they were on a training mission. There were two people in the chopper at the time and it looks as though there were no survivors from the crash.
