Country Star Literally Plans Wedding Date Around Buffalo Bills Schedule
Your wedding is arguably one of the biggest days of your life. Are you going to plan it around a football schedule? If you're a real Bills fan you will!
Mitchell Tenpenny met Meghan Patrick at a bar called Loser's Bar and Grill in Nashville. It was just last year when he proposed to her in that same exact bar. So they've had some time to think about when they were going to have their big day.
It's no coincidence that they chose 10/23/22. It was the date of the Buffalo Bills' bye week!
This is how you know someone is a big fan. You have to plan dates out for weddings pretty far in advance, so for them to think about that that far out shows some dedication. I guess if you're a football fan and you plan to get married on a Sunday in the fall, you'd have to take that into consideration for sure. You wouldn't want to have to split your attention between one of the most important days of your life and your wedding.
She is one of many big stars who claim to be Bills fans these days. It does make sense. Most of the people who follow the Bills are either originally from here or at least close to Western New York. In Meghan's case, she grew up about 2 1/2 hours from Buffalo in Bowmansville, Ontario in Canada.
Also included in the list of celebrity Bills fans are soccer player Abby Wambach, Olympic swimmer Summer Sanders, fashion model Jessica White, actor John Cusack, news anchor Wolf Blitzer, and more.
So when are we going to see Mitchell Tenpenny and Meghan Patrick singing the national anthem at a game? Who wants to get this petition to Terry Pegula started?
