I'm writing this piece because I think 'hers' will become a familiar face when Kamala Harris becomes the 1st Vice President of Color in the United States of America; that person is Kamala Harris' sister, Maya Harris.

Maya Harris is not only Vice Presidential candidate Kamala Harris' sister, but she is also Kamala's biggest supporter, according to irishcentral.com.  Maya Harris' support comes with much political experience as she was Kamala Harris' Campaign Manager when Kamala made her bid for the Presidency recently.  Maya Harris is also a Lawyer and was the Senior Advisor for Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential election, according to irishcentral.com.  Maya Harris is also a civil rights activist, according to the irishcentral.com article, and has been an  American Civil Liberties Union leader and was one of the youngest ever deans at the U.S. at Lincoln Law School of San Jose.

According to the irishcentral.com article, Kamala Harris describes the relationship with her and her sister Maya as 'unbreakable' adding this:

"When I think about it, all of the joyous moments in our lives, all of the challenging moments, all of the moments of transition, we have always been together."

Maya Harris, in turn, said this of her sister Kamala, according to the irshcentral.com article:

"If people knew who Kamala was, and really what she believes and really where her heart is, I think it would be hard not to reach the conclusion that this is the person who would be the most passionate advocate for the things we’ve been fighting for a long time,"

I imagine you'll be seeing Kamala's sister Maya quite often over the next few weeks up until Election Day and thereafter as well if Joe Biden is elected President of the United States.
