Meek Mill's 2008 conviction for drug and gun possession charges have officially been overturned this week and he is no longer on Parole. This comes after a long battle with the judicial system surrounding allegations of corrupted officials involved in his arrest and court proceedings leading to the conviction. Meek Mill released the following statement via is advocacy group Reform Alliance, “I’d like to thank the Pennsylvania Superior Court for overturning my conviction and granting me a new trial.”

Meek Mill apparently had the best week ever because in addition to no longer being a felon or parolee, he also inked a major deal this week with Roc Nation! It was announced on July 24th that Dream Chasers Records is officially launched as a joint venture with Roc Nation. Meek Mill definitely has a ton to celebrate this week, congrats!

Unfortunately, ASAP Rocky's hopes that he would be released from a Swedish prison last week was not realized. He has been formally charged with assault stemming from an altercation that happened on July 2nd with some locals. His trial could begin as early as Tuesday, prayers up!
