There was nothing better than the food truck boom here in Buffalo. What is better than having your favorite cuisines come right to you? Or better yet, having all your favorite foods all in one place as the food trucks converge to serve up the masses.

Lloyd's Tacos was one of the first to put the pedal to the metal and hit the streets of Western New York serving up great tacos, burritos, tricked-out nachos, chips, and salsa and so much more mouth-watering dishes of deliciousness.

Well now, because of the lack of people, who are actually looking for work, WIVB reports that Lloyd's will be suspending roadside services and using their limited staff members to focus on the brick and mortar restaurants.

This is not the first I have heard about the "lack of workers' from bar and restaurant owners. Some businesses are limiting hours, not because of lack of business but because of employee burnout.

The restaurant business is one of the most stressful jobs one can have. I have so much respect for everyone in the industry. From the person doing the real dirty work like the dishes and restroom patrol to the cooks, chefs, service peeps, and especially the bartenders (I'm a bar sitter).

Seems like everyone wants to have money but there are some who really do not want to work leaving current workers to pick up the slack. So the next time you are out, consider the person who is serving you. They may have had a long day, week, month so be appreciative of their service and compassion for the work.

In other words... don't be a DB.
