Lil Yachty and Joe Budden Are Planning the Ultimate Dodgeball Game Against Each Other
Lil Yachty and Joe Budden haven’t exactly been the best of friends, and now it looks like they will settle their petty differences the G way – with a good ol’ fashion dodgeball game.
It all started yesterday (Dec. 24), when Boat issued the challenge randomly on Twitter. “Wow I wanna play dodgeball against another rapper and there [sic] team... anybody tryna play me and my gang?” he posted.
It didn’t take too long before Budden responded with, “U trash in Dodgeball.”
Clearly feeling called out, the Atlanta rapper replied that he seriously wanted to get it popping, to which the former Everyday Hustle host inquired about specifics and also agreed that he would be down to get it on.
Joey added, “I’m in, tell K grab us a partner to livestream it. There’s a check here somewhere…Ima tear Yatchy [sic] up w a dodgeball.” Always one to secure a bag, Diddy chimed in by replying to Budden’s “livestream” tweet with emoji eyes and the handle to his Revolt site.
Boat added he would put the Migos on his squad, to which the "Pump It Up" MC responded, "Good, I owe them." Is this really about to happen? It has to, now. For the culture.
Budden and Yachty’s misunderstandings go back a ways. Though it has never gotten serious, the two continue to take jabs at each other. Recently, the King of the Teens and Quavo dropped the song, “Ice Tray,” off the Quality Control compilation, Control the Streets Vol. 1., where they jab at the elder MC. They even take it a step further in the video.
