He's hinted at it for a while now but during a show at Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania, Lil Wayne announced that he's part of Roc Nation.

“Is it cool if I just say it? It’s the Roc,” Wayne said before throwing up Roc Nation's famous diamond hand symbol. “You know I’m a member of that team now.”

If this is actually true, it'll be the first time in his career that he's been on another label besides Cash Money. Of course, Wayne has said he's a member of Roc Nation before and it turned out that he just had signed a deal with Tidal. Currently, he has a lawsuit pending against Cash Money for over $50 million in unpaid royalties.

Roc Nation has, however, been signing artists left and right over the past six months, including Fat Joe and Yo Gotti. and Jim Jones.  Wayne has insisted he's with Roc Nation as recently as January, when he altered the YMCMB moniker for a new one referencing the Roc.

Though Wayne's claims have not yet been confirmed, you can watch footage of his announcement below.
