18 Arrests Highlight Crime Concerns In Allegany County

Police in Allegany County, New York, were busy during the past month - 18 people were arrested for various alleged crimes. According to its official website,

A Florida man has been arrested for charges in New York. The 65-year-old man from Englewood, Florida, was charged with two counts of second-degree murder and two counts of criminal use of a firearm. Authorities said he got into a fight with his two older brothers during a hunting outing in Allegany County. He ended up killing both of his siblings. New York State Troopers arrested Scot Thompson in November near Geneseo. NY State Police found the two bodies at a cabin. Mark Thompson, 70-years-old, of Connecticut and 69-year-old David Thompson of Florida, were discovered deceased. Thompson allegedly used a rifle to shoot them and fled the scene in David’s vehicle, according to WIVB.
