The National Weather Service has issued a Lake Effect Snow Warning for Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and southern Erie counties, according to WGRZ! The warning is in effect from 6:00 a.m. Thursday through 6:00 a.m. Saturday morning, cancelling out the previous 'watch' that was issued.

The lake effect snow band is expected to bring heavy amounts of snow to far southern Erie County, possibly bringing 1 to 2 feet of snowfall. Buffalo isn't expected to get hit as hard, with only an inch or two of snow.
