‘Justified Killings’ Of African-Americans On The Rise In America [VIDEO]

After George Zimmerman was found not guilty of killing an unarmed teenager, many Americans were not surprised with the outcome -- and there is a good reason why.

Frontline did an analysis about a year or so ago and came up with very enlightening, but disturbing findings on crime as it relates to race and homicides.

Whites who kill blacks in Stand Your Ground states are far more likely to be found justified in their killings. In non-Stand Your Ground states, whites are 250 percent more likely to be found justified in killing a black person than a white person who kills another white person; in Stand Your Ground states, that number jumps to 354 percent.

In fact, there is a case that is in progress right now in Wisconsin. Seventy-six-year-old John Henry Spooner has been found guilty of first degree murder for the death of 13-year-old Darius Simmons, his neighbor. He's now pleading insanity.
