Jamie Foxx And Wanda Sykes To Star In A Live Television Special That Will Pay Tribute To ‘The Jeffersons’

Jamie Foxx and Wanda Sykes are set to pay tribute to the classic television sitcom “The Jeffersons” in a new live special coming to ABC next month. The one-night-only television special will also pay tribute to the classic show “All In The Family.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jimmy Kimmel and producer Norman Lear teamed up to produce the 90 minute special, which will pay tribute to these two classic sitcoms

The special will air on May 22nd, and Jamie Foxx is set to play George Jefferson from “The Jeffersons,” originally played by Sherman Hemsley. Wanda Sykes will play the role of George’s wife, Louise Jefferson, who was originally played by Isabel Sanford.
