The morning after pill, as of right now, is available for purchase for those persons 17 and older that can prove their age.
It is also currently sold behind the counter, but the Food and Drug administration on Tuesday lowered the age to 15, and now the drug will be available for purchase over the counter.
Will this cause an increase in sexual activity of younger individuals, leading to even more rapid cases of sexually transmitted diseases?
