In yet another case of strange news, a shirtless woman has landed herself in some hot water after allegedly attacking a Buffalo Police Officer.

According to a news report by WKBW-TV, a young woman was arrested by the Buffalo Police Department after an altercation at Delaware Park in Buffalo's Parkside neighborhood.

It’s alleged that in the early morning hours on Saturday, May 1, 2021, a woman named Savannah Karcz attempted to drive a vehicle into Delaware Park. Meadow Dr., which is the primary road inside of Delaware Park, has been closed since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and when Ms. Karcz attempted to enter the park she was stopped by a Buffalo Police Lieutenant whose vehicle was blocking the entrance.

During that interaction is when the altercation occurred. The Buffalo Police Department alleges that the 21-year-old woman from Silver Creek, NY, became angry and started slamming her hands on the patrol car. She then took off her shirt, got into the Lieutenant’s face yelling, and then proceeded to attack him. During the attack, she then hit the Officer with a bullhorn.

The Officer was taken to the Erie County Medical Center where he was treated for a concussion, along with other injuries.

Karcz was subsequently taken into custody and charged with 2nd Degree Assault and indecent exposure.

This is by far one of the strangest stories I’ve heard about in a long time. Karcz is due back in court on July 1st.
