These are just a few of the MANY categories. I was SHOCKED to see that Lil Wayne's "The Carter IV" got a nomination for best rap album and Beyonce's "4" didn't get any nominations as a whole. As a matter of fact, Beyonce is only on the list ONE TIME for her work with Andre 3000 for "Party."

Songstress Jill Scott was publicly disappointed that her new album (and all the soul it provided) didn't get the recognition. She feels it's not a matter of "needing but deserving" and she's right. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for Rihanna and all her nominations for her album "Loud" that dropped in late 2010 but come on!

I'm interested to see how this year's show goes. Performances will be interesting for sure. To check out the FULL NOMINATION LIST <-- Click There :)
