Today (May 1) Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that schools across the state will remain closed for the rest of the school year. He said that they are still deciding about how to handle summer school, according to WIVB. That decision will be made at the end of May. Governor Cuomo instructed schools to come up with plans for reopening eventually. He also mentioned that no decision has been made about the Fall semester, since many things can change between now and then.
