Summertime is here and now that we've all finally come outside from hibernation, its the perfect time to hang out and enjoy the great weather.

With the great weather, we also have a great opportunity to meet someone new. Especially after a long and cold winter, the idea of having a new boo to go out on a date with might be a pretty good idea.

With so many great places to check out all around the 716, where exactly is the best place to take someone new where you can spend a little time together and get to know each other better?

One of the most iconic tourist destinations in Western New York makes a great date idea. What's a better way to get to know someone than getting them all wet?

A Walk Around Delaware Park

This gem in Buffalo is an awesome spot to hang out with your new boo to get to spend some quality time with. Plus there are tons a great things to do, like getting some food at The Terrace, taking a flamingo boat out on the water, or just checking out some art at one of the amazing art galleries in the area.

The Erie Basin Marina

One of the great things about this amazing waterfront we have in Buffalo is that there are so many things to do when meeting someone new. From Canalside to the Naval and Service Members Park, the Marina in downtown is a great destination for a date.

The Hippodrome

I love playing pool, so this is a great idea to do something with a new date. There are several great pool halls around Western New York - just make sure your date isn't a pool shark.
