The 2024 NFL season has turned out to be a pretty good one for fans of the sport and players in the league. Established in 1960, the Buffalo Bills are hitting the road and traveling just a few miles down the highway to face the Detroit Lions at Ford Field in downtown Detroit on Sunday, December 15, 2024.

Even though these two teams have a tied history that some folks may not know about, they have only faced each other 12 times, and the game this season marks their 13th time playing each other in 65 years. Not including the game this year, the Bills lead the all-time series between these two teams, winning 7 of their 12 meetings. The Lions have won 4, and the teams tied each other back in 1972.

So Wilson, teaming up with Lamar Hunt (Kansas City Chiefs) and Bud Adams (Houston Oilers), made way for the Bills to start in Buffalo.

Since those early beginnings, the Bills have found their way to being a powerhouse in the AFC, as the Lions are the best team in the NFC.

If you're a Bills or Lions fan, you know these are the two teams we need to see playing on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
